This adapter allows a transducer to be mounted directly to the in-out motor leg allowing the ultrasound waves to be transmitted directly to the various metals, moving parts or rubber bellows that make up the outside of the motor keeping it free of fouling.

The adapter is glued to the side of the pipe, allowing the ultrasound waves to be transmitted into the interior walls, preventing marine fouling inside the pipe.
